I have a brand new 60GB HDD I am trying to install in an older computer. The motherboard is an AOPEN AX6BC with a PII 300 mhz processor. I cannot get the bios to recognize this HDD. When I put the HDD in another computer partitioning and formatting was not a problem.
Also, I can install other HDDs on this motherboard and they work just fine. what gives? The motherboard does support LBA, but the 60GB HDD is not detected at all on with this motherboard. ????
