I have set up a small network as i am studying for mcsa and i want to practice what i study. I have a win 2000 server set up as a domain controller, a winxp pro workstation and a winxp pro laptop. All these connect to the internet through a d-link wireless modem router (adsl). I can connect to any of the computers through my network places, access shared folders etc. But when i try to join the two workstations to the domain i created on the server, it says it cannot find domain controller. All computers get ip addresses from the dhcp server on the router. I have inserted the ip of the server in the ‘dns address’ of the workstations, but still no luck.
Can you please help, what am i doing wrong?
