After I installed Adobe’s Type 1 fonts, I can no longer print to a PDF from my FrameMaker 5.5, and Distiller turns my images from color to black and white. The sequence, and errors, are as follows:
This version of Acrobat PDFWriter does not support printing PostScript Type
1 fonts, which are used in this document. You may wish to use Acrobat
Distiller.
When I used distiller before I got all the following errors. I can now use
Distiller however, all the images are black and white now. The following
are the errors I got with distiller. At this point, I’m going to delete my
PS printer and reinstall it but, after that…. I’m totally lost.
I printed to a file using the Generic PostScript Printer driver so I could
use the distiller. When I do this, and open/save with Distiller, I get the
following error:
