Im having problems with my ip address in my wireless card. I have read a lot of information on the internet about how and what i can possibly do, but i cant find a solution.
My address is a 169 ip, which i read will not allow my computer to access the router internet information in my network. Every time i restart my computer i do not have a problem with my wireless network, however when the wireless drops out im left with a signal, but a 169 ip.
My DHCP is all enabled, everything ‘should’ be working except i cant get the ip to renew after ive lost a signal.
I have tried:
ipconfig
ive uninstalled and reinstalled the card
ive downloaded “winsock” and that wouldnt help
looking through all the properties/options
If anyone has any solutions to my problem that would be greatly appreciated!
