We recently changed our NT4 (yeah I know) file server for a Server 2008. The ADS architecture was already in 2003 on our DC. We transfered all files and folders with their NTFS permissions as well. The problem we get is that if a folder was granted NTFS permission with a domain local group, the new server seems not to recognize them, even if they’re really present.
Only global groups are listed when we search for domain groups. No domain local groups at all. Any idea?
