Cannot send email

By Intensity ·
Suddenly I cannot send email. I can receive and brows the internet. Each mail that I tried to send is rejected by the server (although it looks like its not send at all and goes to my inbox directly after the send button is pressed with the message that its been rejected.) Even my own email address is rejected. I have spoken to my ISP - and he says that nothing is blocked and everything is fine on their side. We have gone through all the settings and everything is fine with my mail settings as well. I have tried outlook 2003 and outlook express.

EMAIL and PASSWORD protection and encryption

by Mark_Wigan In reply to Cannot send email

another one of numerous considerations would include the following:

your computer may be running a security suite (eg zone alarm internet security suite) which has identity or privacy protection you may add your various passwords and email addresses to the vault and enable protection for email and web browsing situations. If you use this functionality of your security suite and do allow either, then your mail client and or web browser may not understand your specific email address or passwords. simply go to your security suite and adjust the settings accordingly.
