I dug up an old dinasaur (compaq deskpro 2000) that had nothing but a mother board and a case. I slapped it back together with extra parts I had kicking around (10 gig hard drive, cdrom and floppy drive), loaded windows 98se and it booted up no problem. It recognized the graphics card and monitor. It didn’t recognize the first modem, but recognized the second (creative modem blaster di3635). I downloaded the drivers and burned it on a cd. When I put the cd in the compaq, it states that it does not contain software for this device. Any hints would be appreciated.
