My roomates’ laptop (SONY-PCG707/VAIO notebook computer w\98 second edition) seemed to of ‘lost’ its cd-rom?! Its unable to play CD’s read CD’s or anything CD. I tried to update the driver for it, but it[driver] wants to look for it in the {win 98CD} which it wont read anyway…..its looking for something called a SLCD32.mpd which I cannot find anywhere.
Could someone give me some kind of resource or step by step instructions on what to do…OR send me the driver! 🙂 !!!
