I’m using Internet Explorer 6.0+ in Windows XP. The other day, I suddenly became unable to save (save picture as) images off the web as jpeg. Bmp is the only file extension that appears in the copy form. I’ve had no trouble saving jpeg until 1-11. I tried Gateway tech support (both phone and e-support), where I purchased my 450 notebook, but no solution as yet. Microsoft won’t help without charging $245, even though my XP includes unlimited support.
