On-going saga…I have a Dell Laptop w/WIN XP and internal CD-RW. Have never been able to write to CD-RW disks (but can write to CD-R.) They sent a replacement CD-RW drive but that didn’t help. They now suggest i have to do a fresh install of the operating system (fdisk-format etc). Mind you, i did this already without their help but it didn’t help. This time around they said i have to it again in this order: Boot to Resource CD;Debug;Fdisk;Format;Reinstall. The only thing i didn’t do the firsttime was DEBUG. What value is debugging and do you think it will have any different effect? I hate to have to reinstall again!
