<<< see PART I At this point I must stress a few points: 1. I've created many Audio CD's in the past, following the exact same proceure, and they were all 'really' created successfully (unlike this one). 2. I've checked all the WAV files and they were all of an excellent quality. 3. I've tried to play other CD's (some original and some I've burbed earlier) on My stereo system and PC and they all sound fine. 4. Regardin the media: I've used a quality CDR - TDK CDR74 (650MB), not a cheap one. 5. No other programs were working during the CD creation process (not even the screen saver). 6. I own a new fast hard disk. 7. The buffer status was 90-100% most of the time. There wasn't a "buffer underrun". 8. CD creation speed was x4. After I've understood that there's somthing wrong I tried to do all the following: 1. I've updated the CDRW firmware (it was 1.oj, now it's 1.0q) using your web site. 2. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Adaptec Easy CD Creator. 3. Iv'e ran ScanDisk (the drive has 0
