On a Compaq PC with a CD drive the following has started to occur (everything worked fine since the PC was put into service 3 years ago)
Whenever a CD is put into the drive the entire system locks up. The user claims no changes have been made. I have turned off AutoPlay and to the best of my knowledge deleted any file type links that would automatically fire up a program. A green line display on the monitor and then nothing responds. You have to hold the power button in to restart the PC.
Any ideas??
