can anyone please tell me if there is a way to check sync. on the drive mechanism when a disk is inserted. electronically the unit chks. ok on all xp troubleshooters but when cd is inserted, computer will not recognize any type disk. The drive made a weird vibrating noise one day before it quit. the drawer works normally from eject button and from program.
