Have a laptop with a finicky CD-ROM. The laptop can be working fine. A new instructor will bring in their CD and it will not work. The drive will read D:\ is not accessible. I?ll take the CD to a similar laptop no problems. I?ll try another CD in the finicky laptop no problem. I?ll put the instructor?s CD back in the finicky laptop, it will start to spin and then the message D:\ is not accessible. Please help!! This is hurting our image. This is not one particular instructor, this happens more than I care to mention. To save face staff members will move equipment around. This gets to be a huge problem. What is wrong?
