CD-Writer and CD-R / CD-RW Disks
I was wondering if it's possible to get a program that will erase CD-R disks? If the writer can make these CDs empty somehow would be usful. A program that could re-open closed CDs would be great too. I am writing music and burning CD's like crazy !
I guess I'm trying to find a way to be able to erase the data after I've played it on a regular home / car CD player or re-open a closed CD so that I can add/erase. This same CD must be playable on a regular home / Car CD player.
My speakers for my PC don't really do justice on determining if the recording is sound or not. I have to waste a CD-R by closing the session, going to a CD player to hear it, and if the mix is no good then I have to trash the CD and use another one. This is when I only have a couple of songs on it too !
Maybe there is an option for my CD-RWs to play on a regular CD player, then erase it if the recording is not mixed right. I tried closing the CD on a CD-RW CD, but regular CD players still won't recongnize it as a valid audio CD.
I am using Roxio 5 Easy CD Creator Platinum edition.
My CD writer is an LG Goldstar 8032B, and I'm using WIN 98, my PC is a PII 233mhz, 256 RAM.
Let me know if there is a way around all of this.
Thanks in advance,
Kelly
