Certification Advice

By GJ2008 ·
Please advise. I posses a BSc (Hons) Computer Science degree and MCP in W2K Professional. I have 2.5 years experience in IT Support and was thinking whether it would be worth me doing the A+ certification at this stage?

Certification Advice

by Super_IT_Mom In reply to Certification Advice

That depends on what you want out of it. It would probably be a simple task for you to get it. And when you did, it would give you the A+ certification that so many people look for. It's a credibility thing. Yes, you have the experience, you know what you are doing, but the A+ sets in in stone. When people see that, they know you know PC's. I have the experience, too, but went ahead and got the A+ certification. Having that certification is what got me my job I have today. Didn't matterthat I had the experience. Crazy, huh! Actually having the certification has helped me, but it's up to you. Have a great day!!
