I have a firmware failure on my Access Point and I am trying to reinstall its image. I found instruction using TFPD protocol but it’s not working. I have copied the image file over to the notebook that I have loaded Tftpd32. I have set the base directory to the location of this file. I have renamed the file from c1130-k9w7-tar.123-8.JAtar to c1130-k9w7-tar.default. I connect the notebook through the Access Point’s ethernet port. I have created a static IP on the notebook. I start the TFTpd32 server and connect the A/C adapter into the access point while holding the mode button for appx. 20 second until the led light turns red. It appears the server is picking up the request from the access point for the jar file (it shows it on the log) but the file is never uploaded to the access point and the session winds up in a TIMEOUT and a continual string of “no more address or address previously allocated by another server” messages. I have disabled Windows firewall and Symantec Endpoint Protection that are installed on the notebook.
I have run this same scenerio accept I connect the notebook to the building’s network through a patchport and the Access Point is connected to the network. I get the same results. Below is a copy of the log.

There were several more lines of the “no more address or address previously….”
There was no indication that I needed to make any special setting changes in Tftpd32.
Can anyone help me.
