buy a 1800 instead and return the 1900?

Just a thought.

here's another. try the 1700 series or 800 series ADSL routers.

A more expensive option 2620 with an ethernet ADSL WIC module.

ok.....if your thinking of getting your CCNA certification, don't get a 1900 Catalyst and 2500 series routers. These are obsolete and won't help you understand IOS.

the 2900 series Catalyst and a 2600 modular router. CCNA is fundamentals of routing and switching and you only need 1 Catalyst and 1 router but if you want CCNP then you'll need more than 1 catalyst and more than 1 router so that you can simulate multiple WAN segments. Also you'll need experience with with Frame Relay, BRI, and ISDN. Don't bother with learning Token Ring no one uses it.
