Cisco 6006 Catalyst switch rebooting

By Wild Card ·
At about 6 AM the switch reboots itself knocking everyone off the network. Is there a setting somewhere that tells it to reboot after so many errors and if there is how can I shut it off?

Secondary question. What would cause it to reboot int he first place. This is a very recent thing and I know no one has fiddled with the switch.

A few things...

Make sure that in the startup-config file there is no "reload at hh:mm" command. try a "show reload"

Next thing I'd check is environmental, make sure that no one is in that room. (cleaners etc)

Next, would be the UPS. I had one that when it tested the batteries a server would shutdown hard...
