I am new to the entire cisco configuring thing but I try and sometimes I run into a few problems. The following I copied from the show conf command within my switch.
I am basically out of ip addresses for the machines on my network so I decided that I would attempt to create a vlan off an old 2950 that I had laying around so that I could get 23 or so extra devices on the network easily. I am now not sure what is wrong but I can’t get an ip address when I plug into the ports of the switch and obviously I have port 1 plugged into the main network and from what I can tell ports 2 through 24 I have set to be on the BMWVLAN. Any ideas to which direction or commands that I have forgotten. Any help is appreciated.
