Cisco Routers for CCNA actual use in home network

By nbelomy ·
Hi. I am a computer geek / network / server geek. I already have a bunch of stuff; like servers and a catalyst 4000 switch. I just need some Cisco Routers, anyone recommend good ones that don't cost too much second hand?

You wanted to know where to find second hand Cisco routers, right? Well that's where you can find some.

Maybe the fumes from your neighbors cooking Crack in their apartments. It would appear that you are breathing in something that has you teetering on the edge.

2514's their cheap

come with 2 serial and 2 aui ports. the aui ports need the allied telensyn transceivers to conver to ethernet. Transceivers are about $25.00 USD. but their old IOS 11.3 or so.

You could try the 2520 which has 4 serial and use that for frame relay coupled with a 2501.

Switching, 2950T or a 2900 enhanced image [XL].

for 12.3 & > go for the 2600XMs

If your considering continuing for CCNP, that you have to factor in what is in those tests and build your test network accordingly for CCNA so that you build upon CCNA for CCNP and on to CCIE.
