Contact Cisco But I don't think that as yet they have anything

by HAL 9000 Moderator In reply to Cisco VPN for VISTA

However you could try M$ Windows Vista Community located here

http://tinyurl.com/yt8adb

Personally I haven't been quite insane enough to place an untested and unsupported OS into any Business Environment where losses in production can easily exceed the cost of the hardware package in a few minutes of down time.

I'm not sure just what the quality of the answers will be at the Vista Community as by the looks of things it's end users attempting to support other end users but it's got to be much cheaper than ringing M$ Technical Support only to be told to contact Cisco and be charged an arm and a leg for that obvious bit of information.

Cisco VPN for VISTA

by shamdeepak In reply to Cisco VPN for VISTA

Hi

You can download the Cisco VPN v4.8.01.0300 for VISTA from cisco's website but you need to have a valid CCO login.

The Cisco VPN client beta works with Vista but has issues.Cisco VPN Client does not support VPN start before logon, uninstall warns that VPN service is still running.

Hope this helps.

Cisco VPN

by shamdeepak In reply to Hi

Hi There,

Cisco has just released the official Client 5.0.00.0340 which is supposed to fix most issues with Vista. Remember you cannot use the installer shield version in Vista but only the MSI.

Try to get it downloaded from the below site:-

https://ncc.uni-mannheim.de/mannhattan/index.php?id=netzzugang&id2=vpndownload&dpd=vpn.
