Dear Members,
I have a very outdated email program (I’m certain you are rolling your eyes :), Claris 1.1v4, that I use on a PowerMac 250. I had an address directory with about 250 names, etc. Today, someone sent me an e-mail that included a newsletter that was distributed to a pretty substantial list. When I opened it, the newsletter read all garbled at the beginning but straightened out near the end. I immediately hit the *New Message* icon so that I could contact the owner of the company who sent out the message to advise it was all messed up. When I did that, somehow I ended up with part of the sender’s e-mail list in a newly created address directory and mine just vanished. The new directory is called NetCenter Member Directory, memberdir.netscape.com and it shows a search root along with port number and max hits. I have no idea what happened or how to resolved this. Obviously, I’m not a techie but I’m a darn good global marketing expert :)!
I contacted Claris. I contacted Apple. I contacted my host, Winstar, and no one can help me because the program *is that old* :).
Can anyone in this forum assist? If so, the following is my contact info and thank you ever so much in advance!
Regards,
Laurel Delaney
