Configuring a laptop to work in domain group and a workgroup

I having a fair bit of trouble and could use some help. We’ve recently purchased 2 new laptops for the upper management of our company. They need to be able to jump between a workgroup and a domain without having to be manually configured each time. They need to have access to all the printers and all the shared docs and harddrives in both areas. My method so far has been to configure them to the domain (which they work great in), but when I bring them to the office that runs on a workgroup I can’t find any of the printers, or see anyone elses computers in the workgroup. They only thing that works is the net. I’m using windows XP on all the computers, and the server office is using Windows Server 2003.
If anyone has any advice I’d be most grateful.
