configuring NAT-PT on cisco router

by hellotaral . Updated 17 years, 3 months ago

hi, i am trying to connect ipv6 only host to ipv4 only host via NAT-PT in cisco router.

I have 2811 cisco router with 1 interface in ipv4 and other in ipv6. I am using static NAT-PT.

Below is my conf file
!
ipv6 unicast-routing
!
!
interface FastEthernet0/0
ip address 150.11.2.1 255.255.255.0
duplex auto
speed auto
ipv6 nat
!
interface FastEthernet0/1
no ip address
duplex auto
speed auto
ipv6 address 3001:11:0:1::2/64
ipv6 nat
!

!
ipv6 nat v4v6 source 150.11.2.2 2000::960B:202
ipv6 nat v6v4 source 3001:11:0:1::1 150.11.3.1
ipv6 nat prefix 2000::/96

somehow its not working

When i enter
“Router(config)#ipv6 nat v6v4 source 3001:11:0:1::1 150.11.3.1”,
i am getting msg “Address 150.11.3.1 already in use on attached network”

Am i doing anything wrong here?

any reply will be ppreciated.

thanks

tk
