My friend the sequence of your question is very confusing, well i will try to ans ur question.

First install XP after that Install 2000 on that system no matter on which disk you install these two. After installation, W2000 boot for the first time at that time with the help of w2000 boot.ini file it will tell you from which OS you have to boot. you do not have to do anything to boot from the multiple OS, let OS to done that job.

I think this will solve ur broblem

I do agree that the question is a bit confusing, but that's OK. If both versions of windows work I don't understand what's the problem. When you have the 2 OS' installed it should bring up a choice durring the boot process that allows you to boot to either one. Give more info on what the problem is.

Hi,
I take it that by default, win2k loads first and you want it the other way around. You need to edit the boot.ini file on the win2k disk, and change the 'DEFAULT' entry - this specifies which OS is loaded if one is not specified by the user.

You can change which system boots first, click Start->Settings->Control Panel,double-click System icon, select the Advanced tab, select the Startup and Recovery button,at the top of panel click on arrow to select which os loads first.
