A few questions...

by Breezer85 In reply to Connect Network Printer

1) Is the user connected to the network?

2) Have you deleted any installed printer drivers for this printer?

3) What sort of ntwork enviroment are you running i.e. Server/Workgroup?

4) What OS are you running?

If you could provide a more accurate account of your problem you may have a better chane of finding the answer!

I've done this

by DMambo In reply to Connect Network Printer

I had an HP Inkjet2200 that seems to dislike W2000 drivers since a recent update, so I connected it to one user via USB and 2 others through the network. Even with the the network connections, I fully installed the printer locally to LPT1, then added a new IP port and pointed the local printer to the IP port. Sometimes it's easier to work around a problem than to fix it!
