I’ve got an XP Pro box running as a file server in our office. I’ve shared the Data Drive, containing all user’s files, and all users can access that folder. The problem comes in accessing their own personal folders inside of that shared drive. It seems that XP Home users can’t access these folders, although XP Pro users can (I’ve set up permissions for each user’s folder..the user’s name and the Administrator’s group having access). Is this a limitation of XP Home? Or am I missing something? Any thoughts/ideas would be appreciated. 🙂
