I have a laptop that was acting strange. I reformatted and installed W98 SE. When I boot I get an invalid vxd error. The knowledgebase suggests limiting the memory available to windows to 16MB. The laptop has 120 MB installed. What will the downsideof limiting windows to 16MB of memory. will it affect other apps as well as windows.
