    constant rebooting

    On a system w/ WinNT 4.0 Server, the PC reboots time after time while loading NT. I have tried to reinstall NT and the system reboots during that process as well.

      That is a sure sign that the power supply is giving out. Try replacing it with a known good PS.

      if you move quickly you could:

      check under System properties – the Startup/Shutdown tab – Recovery section that the box Automatically reboot is unchecked.

      as shutdown/reset/restart are functions controlled by software, at this stage
      i would not assume that
      the power supply is at fault

      Sometimes if the processor is overheating it will cause the system to shut down or reboot constantly. First check to make sure that the processor fan is running properly. You might also check the Processor temperature in the BIOS to see what the running temp is.
