    Locked

    by nerdy ·

I am wondering how I take a couple of disks that I have
that are AVI format and convert them to a DVD format so
that they can be burnt onto a DVD.
Please email me with any answers, as I dont get in here to
    check responses very often.

    Thanks in advance

DVD Format? are you talking about being able to watch them on a dvd player? Any file can be copied to a DVD disc. In able to watch it on a DVD player, you need to check with your dvd player model and what capacity is has… Some play mpegs, avi’s, etc.

Look up your dvd model # on the web and you will know which file format you should convert them files to.

There are various free file converters on the web, just have to search for what you need…

Can’t email you the answers, you would need to subscribe to this question to receive the answers.

You must convert the AVI file to an MPG2 file.
The resulting file must have a resolution of 720×480 (NTSC format) or 720×576 (PAL format).
Check out this web page for additional info:

      Hope this helps.
