CPU / Room Temperature

What kind of room temperature would be recommended for a computer? Currently where i work it is quite hot inside, over 80 deg. F., how bad is that for a computer?

CPU / Room Temperature

there is no "recoomended room temperature" for a computer, rather the idea that "cooler is better".

Processors have a mean operating temperature value with a upper limit temperature before damage to the processor core results. Consult Intel/AMD technical papers for the specific processor in question operating temperature values.

A room temp of 80 degrees might be to warm for people to do productive work but not necessarily to warm for a computer.
