I?m converting a hp laptop into a desktop by putting it onto a plastic box with fans to keep it cool so I can use it as a server for files and gaming etc. the whole reason I?m doing this is because I cracked the screen. I used to be able to boot the laptop and then change to external mode but I can no longer do that… in the BIOS i changed the screen settings to the cracked screen only no external. How can I change it so that it?s only the external screen when I am unable to see the screen????? It?s a HP Pravilion dv2000 from 2007. And all the BIOS are original apart from the screen setting….
I have been to 5 stores and no one has had any screens that I can use for 5mins.
Someone plz help me I?m in need and I would really be thank full!!!
