Damn email issues again!

By Oz_Media ·
Okay so this tie I send out to a long list, all broken into small groups in separate emails, I got over 110 retunred emails saying : Error 5.1.2 Bad Destination Host: "DNS hard error looking up [domain](MX)NXDomain)

From what I can see it is from a host that cannot be found (duh) but teh addresses are ALL domains that I have sucessfully sent to before (even the same small groups of names C&P'd from past sent emails into a BCC field).

Most are Shaw or telus but private domains are there too, NOTHING went through it seems.

any ideas?

ISP and HOST is Shaw cable, not a local mail server.

Maybe just a blip on the network.

It might be that the server has gone down somewhere, that is why you have the failed responses. I had this many a time, i phoned up the ISP and found out they were doing some maintenance work on the lines.

Please post back if you have any more problems or questions.

WOW!!!

I feel priviledged to have the famed Peconet Tietokoneet (which I can now pronounce properly) respond to my question.

I'd ask for your autograph but I know you probably don't entertain wishes of the bottom feeding ranks.

I'll try again later, which was my first thought really, it just seems that I always have issues with these lists no matter how big or small, while others in the office just sh1t and giggle away without problems #%@^*!~@. I am just a 'user' at this company, shudder.

I still don't believe it though, Peconet Tietokoneet answered MY question! How's that for a cool Monday! I'm truly flattered!

Thanks for your prompt reply, sir. I bow to you gracefully. Up with the thumbs!
