I’ve read somewhere that you can remove your BIOS after booting from the floppy since its only needed in the beginning (was called hot swapping). Then plug in a dead BIOS and flash it. I’d like to have an opinion on that.

If its true — Would it work if I re-flashed the BIOS for an ASUS A7V333 MB (Athlon processor) on a BIOS chip mounted on a TUSL2-C MB (Pentium III)
Thats provided I flashed the correct BIOS file.
