I am currently running a network server 2000 that supports Windows 2000 workstations and WinNT 4.0 work stations. There is a label printer that is shared out on one of the 2000 PCs with a driver that is supported by NT and/or 2000. However, if I create a new user on the server and have the user log on to an NT machine the driver for the label printer cause the machine’s RPC service to stop running. I have replace the driver folder for the WinNT machine, and deleted all label printers from the registry, and restarted the RPC service and spooler service. But the RPC service stop running when trying to reinstall. Can anyone help? Thanks!
