Deleting Dynamic Drive Overlay

By jeremy ·
I have a Conner 540MB hard drive that has dynamic drive overlay installed on it. I need to get rid of the dynamic drive overlay to use it on a different system whose biose supports large drives. I don't want to lose to data on the drive, and I don't see any feasible way to back it up because it won't work with other hard drives. Let me know if you can help me.

540mb can fit on a cd - back up all data on to a cd and then run fdisk and reformat the drive.

Here is some info that may help. It in a nutshell says contact the hardrive vendor as these utilities are proprietary but may give some insight.

what you need is a disk manager, you can download it from many web sites. you may lose your data, so please backup it before doing anything. Be sure the capacity of your disk, beacuse those Disk managers sets your disk with diferent capacities they really are, to support large disks.
