Hello,
I am trying to find out what Application Suites are out there, or general info on PC deployment.
I want to accomplish:
1)PXE Boot (need info on what/how to create a pxe server and get a system to connect to it)
2) Multiple image choices from PXE(uploading,having several images available)
What about “totally hardware non-dependant base images”
3)Ghosting/imaging (full ghosting,sysprep,etc…documentation)
4) security updates/ patches push (what technology to use for this, do I repackage updates, just put them into a directoy, what?)
5) Application pushes/msi installer (what suite to sue, any links to documentation,etc)
6) Hopefully the most robust suites out there to do this and hopefully as little scripting knowledge needed as possible since I do not know scripting (speaking of which, if I were going to learn a specific language, what is your opinion on which is best, easiest, best premade scripts out there I might be able to cheat a little and copy, and maybe just tweak them)?
The big thing here, is I cant seem to find any books or good articles to help me, if anyone has good documenttation or knows where to get it, or good pc deployment type books PLEASE let me know.
