Assemble a routing routine

by mjd420nova In reply to designing wireless networ ...

Try keeping the workgroups on the same routers or wifi links. Sometimes mounting multiple units together will cover saturation areas and even some overlaps might be required for some work groups. Interlinks could be wireless too, but I find a land link less likely to fail or be interfered with and primary routing should be the most dependant. Some sites might require a main collection location, so a suitable size UPS will prevent a big outage. Some sites might even require a T1 just to keep up. Future usage of fiber optics will go along way to meeting todays needs and room for expansion in the future.
