Is there a way to lock the original icon image generated by a web site & saved on the desktop as a shortcut ???
On many occassions, for no apparent reason, the icon will change to the icon of the previous site visited, or worse, will change to the IE blue sphere image..
Have tried :: > deleting icon & restarting site to save the right image.
:: > Drag & drop the web site icon displayed on the upper
left corner of the site.
Since reading messages have designated all correct image icons as
” read-only ” in “properties”.
But what procedure is necessary to change existing wrong icons to the official web site icons ????????
