How can I restrict unauthorised users from acquiring IP address from the DHCP server.

What kind of server are you using?.

Could try MAC filtering where only the computers with the right mac address has the right to access the server.

I'm using Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition.

Could try MAC filtering

Could try MAC filtering where only the computers with the right mac address has the right to access the server.

Try Mac Address Encryption

MAC or Media Access Control Address is the easist way to deine people access and the most secure. If you don't want to have to change your MAC setings when someone else wants to get on. You could do WEP or a password protection. If you need help in doing this, post back after I find my link.
