Everything was running fine and then a second NIC arrived from our hardware supplier:-
i. 2 wk old install of sbs 2003, dhcp running fine.
ii. install new nic, reboot, install drivers, attempt to configure NICs. get it wrong.
iii. realise that I want to revert to 1 NIC setup for time being and until I have enough time to work out the proper setup.
iv. remove 2nd NIC
v. Unistall drivers.
vi. reboot
Vii. Clients can now not get DHCP addresses.
I have the correct scope and the server is also authorised DHCP server.
I need to get this working ASAP, any kind suggestions?
I am guessing it is a setting that was changed when having 2 NICS and now needs to be changed back when we only have 1.
It also seems that client machines on the network are unable to ping the server even though both server and client machines can access internet through a router.
Thanks!
