Running XP Home. Suddenly seems that any application crashes after calling for a dialog box. I get a msg referring to comctl32.dll as at least part of the problem. I recently removed a McAfee Firewall system. I’ve downloaded the “most recent” copy of comctl32.dll. I’ve also uninstalled several unnecessary apps and will reinstall when problem is solved.
