have used serial cable to connect computers together but have problems with the network setup would like to be able to leave them connected but windows does not allow this. would like to be able to get both computers to access the net at the same time so that we can double our research and be able to access the mail with out have it download to one or the other so when we check the mail we donnot end up with each others mail which is usually the case and once it has been accessed from one of the computers we have to go to that computer to go through it and due to windows host and guest setup on direct cable only one computer can access the other this way and have not been able to script around this problem any ideas.
