ok, everytime the computer restarts the display adapter becomes corrupted to a point where you have to delete it from the device manager. What could be the problem??

I have two solutions.

1. Download the updated driver from their web site.

2. delete all devices under device manager including stuff like com ports and sound cards. Windows will reinstall the drivers on restart and should solve you problems.
I hope this helps

I would suggest that you check inside you case and see if the video adapter is in a slot. If it is remove the video adapter from the slot and reseat the video adapter making sure that it is all the way in the slot.

All cards and memory can work itself loose from the constant heating and cooling difference of the computer being turned on and off.

I would also suggest that you get the latest video adapter, and monitor drivers. A good source to get them is at http://www.windrivers.com.

Ifthat does not resolve your problem, you have a faulty video adapter or monitor. If you have another monitor, plug in it and see if you get the same results. Then you know that the video adapter is faulty.

Good luck and have a great day.

You are probaly using a driver that is not compatible with the adapter, yet you did not provide enough info on what type or what it is actually doing, one you can manually insstall the card and use a generic driver, then go to manufacturers web site and download the latest driver, another posibility is that certain boards that are being installed donot work well with the onboard graphics of the motherboard.

You need to boot your PC in Safe mode(Normal mode will not work for this purpose). Go to Device Maneger ,delete all display adapters drivers ( you might see a few of those) and delete all other duplicate device drivers. then you need to restart computer, and let Windows re-detect all devices. In addition, go to your CMOS setup utility and load optimal settings.
