Hi,
I have a domain name. I am hosting a site (intranet) on windows 2000 server (IIS).
I have another system in which another site is running on wamp server. I have not created virtual host. All the files are in www folder and i am accessing the site by using my system name or its ip address. Its working fine.
I Want to create a subdomain in windows 2000 server and target it to the site running on wamp server.
For example,
domain name – abc.net – running on windows 2000 server.
sub domain – sub.abc.net – which i want to create in windows 2000 server
if i access the site, sub.abc.net i should get the site running on the wamp server.
What are the steps i should do to get the above. Please give me a walkthrough or step by step instructions as i am a newbie in server configurations.
