I’m having touble getting computers to update their DNS entries. I am running DHCP and DNS on the same server. All computers get DHCP correctly, but don not get registered in DNS. DNS is set to do secure dynamic updates. So my first question would be:
Does a computer have to be joined to the domain to update DNS or does it only require that it recieves its IP from the DHCP?
