I have Parent-Child architecture in AD. On the child domain in DNS zone replication I was able to configure the replication mode to “To all the DNS servers in Active Directory forest”. But when I try to make the same configure on the parent AD dns server I get the following error:
The replication scope could not be set. For more information, see “DNS zone replication in Active Directory” in Help and Support. The error was: The name limit for the local computer network adapter card was exceeded.
Please let me know how can I change this replication mode. I think because of this the child AD dns does not get updated with the entries of parent AD dns server entries
