I have a pc that I ghosted (Ghost 5.1PE) Gateway PC to a Clone PC. Everything came across but no matter what I do I cannot get the CD ROM drive to be recognized. If I boot up with a Win98 startup boot disk the cd is fine. Once Win98 comes up .. no CD. I also noticed that in Control panel..System…Device manager… there are yellow exclamation points under hard disk controllers. When I try and delete the IDE contoller the system will lock up and when it reboots it comes back the same way. Is there a way I can change the registry to delete it and then have windows recognize it when it reboots? I also have tried making the CD a slave off the hard drive but no luck. HELP!! Thanks
