domain Logon

By garrett.ikekhua ·
How can I remove the domain drop down list from the logon options. I want the Users to logon to the domain when connected to the network but be able to logon to the local machine when off the network.

Huh?

If the domain option isn't available, how are they supposed to logon? Unless I'm missing something, or unless you've prevented them from doing so, they should already have the option of logging onto the local machine.

If the user doesn't have a login account on the local machine then they can't logon to the local machine. Period.
However their domain credentials are normally cached to allow them to logon if the domain is unavailable. If you want to disable credential caching then you can follow the steps outlined over here: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/disable-logon-windows-no-domain/ which will prevent your users from logging on unless the domain is available.
